Viridian 445W Clearline Double Glass 60 Cell All Black MC4 Solar Panel
The Viridian Clearline fusion PV16-AG-M10 445 W is an N-Type TOPCon solar panel that mounts into the roof plane in place of tiles or slates, rather than on rails above them. TOPCon cells add a passivated contact layer behind the silicon, cutting the recombination losses that limit older PERC modules. It delivers 22.8 % module efficiency from a 1,722 × 1,134 mm frame.
About the Viridian Clearline fusion range
Clearline fusion is Viridian's roof-integrated system. The panels are fitted during the normal roofing programme and replace the tiles or slates beneath them, which keeps the array flush with the roof line and puts responsibility for weathertightness in one place.
It is specified at the roofing stage on new builds and full re-roofs, and it is the usual answer where a planning officer or a conservation area will not accept a surface-mounted array. The black frame and dark cells keep the array visually quiet on a front-facing roof.

- −0.29 %/°C power temperature coefficient — output falls away more slowly as the modules heat up through the middle of the day.
- All-black appearance — a black anodised frame and dark cells, for domestic roofs where the array has to be discreet.

Array sizing
Each panel covers 1.95 m². A 4 kWp array needs 9 of them (4.00 kWp over about 18 m²). A 6 kWp array needs 13 of them (5.79 kWp over about 25 m²). At 28.3 kg each they are a two-person lift.
