Solar kit builds from the ClearRay configurator

Solar kit builds on this page are put together by our own Solar Panel Kit Builder rather than assembled by hand. The builder matches an inverter, a panel count and a battery against the parts we hold, then prices the result, so every kit listed here is a combination it has already checked for fit. There are 24 at the moment — twelve with a battery, twelve without — from £1,333 to £4,690 excluding VAT.

What a kit contains

Each build pairs an inverter from Fox ESS, Solis or Sigenergy, at 3.6kW, 3.7kW or 5kW, with a panel set of 9 or 12 × 540W or 10 or 13 × 465W. The battery builds add 5.8kWh, 6kWh, 9kWh, 10kWh or 11.5kWh of storage, matched to the inverter it sits with. Every part is also sold on its own page, so if a kit is close but not quite right you can price it up from solar panels, inverters and battery storage separately.

Stock and prices are checked, not fixed

A kit is only as orderable as its scarcest part. Component stock and pricing behind these builds are checked regularly against our supplier feed, so the figure on a kit reflects its parts at the time you look rather than a price set months ago. That is also why a kit can read as unavailable while the panels and inverter inside it are still in stock individually — the kit needs every line present at once, and the quantity shown is what we hold for the whole build.

If none of them fits the roof

These 24 are the combinations asked for most often, not the only ones available. Give the Kit Builder the inverter size, panel count and battery capacity you want and it returns a full bill of materials for that specification, mounting and cabling included.
