Who we are

ClearRay Solar LTD is an independent distributor of solar PV, battery storage and renewable heating equipment, trading from premises in Cramlington, Northumberland.

The catalogue is deliberately broad. Most jobs need more than panels, so alongside modules we carry inverters, batteries, mounting systems, cabling, protection devices and EV charging, which means a full system can be specified and ordered in one place.

What we supply

The range covers the whole installation rather than one part of it.

Solar panelsMonocrystalline, bifacial and double-glass modules from the major manufacturers, in the wattages installers actually specify.
InvertersString and hybrid inverters, listed with the MPPT and voltage figures needed to size an array properly.
Battery storageAC and DC-coupled batteries, from single units to stacked systems.
Mounting and fixingsOn-roof, in-roof, flat-roof and ground-mount systems, plus the rail, clamps and flashings that go with them.
Cabling and protectionSolar cable, connectors, isolators, surge protection and the balance-of-system parts jobs stall without.
EV charging and heatingChargers, heat pumps, cylinders and controls for installers working across the wider retrofit.

Who we work with

We supply MCS-registered installers and electrical contractors working on domestic and light commercial installations, buying either job by job or on a trade account.

We also supply experienced self-builders and specifiers directly. If you are pricing a system and are not certain what pairs with what, send us the details — sizing a string, checking a battery against an inverter, or flagging whether a job falls under G98 or G99, is work we would rather do before the order than after it.

How ordering works

How an order moves from checkout to your site, and what happens when something is short.

Order before 2pm
Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are picked the same day and go out for next-day delivery on stocked lines.

Tracked to your door
Tracking is sent as soon as the parcel or pallet leaves us, so the install can be planned around it.

If something is short
Occasionally a warehouse count is out or a supplier lets us down. We tell you straight away, with the options and a realistic date rather than silence.

Refunds are processed the moment we cannot fulfil

If we cannot supply what you ordered — whether that is our own stock or an external supplier letting us down — the refund is processed immediately, not held over until the end of a review period. You should not be out of pocket for weeks over a shortfall that was not yours.
