Viridian 335W Clearline Monofacial 60 Cell All Black MC4 Version 3 Solar Panel

The Viridian Clearline fusion G1 is an Mono PERC G1 half-cut solar panel that mounts into the roof plane in place of tiles or slates, rather than on rails above them. PERC cells add a rear passivation layer that reflects unabsorbed light back through the silicon for a second pass. It delivers 19.9 % module efficiency from a 1,686 × 1,000 mm frame.

About the Viridian Clearline fusion G1 range

Clearline fusion is Viridian's roof-integrated system. The panels are fitted during the normal roofing programme and replace the tiles or slates beneath them, which keeps the array flush with the roof line and puts responsibility for weathertightness in one place.

It is specified at the roofing stage on new builds and full re-roofs, and it is the usual answer where a planning officer or a conservation area will not accept a surface-mounted array. The black frame and dark cells keep the array visually quiet on a front-facing roof.

Each panel covers 1.69 m². A 4 kWp array needs 12 of them (4.02 kWp over about 20 m²). A 6 kWp array needs 18 of them (6.03 kWp over about 30 m²).
