Every SolaX hybrid needs a meter at the origin of the supply before it can do anything intelligent with import, export or self-consumption. These are SolaX's own CT meters for that job.
About the SolaX CT energy meter
The feature that saves time on site is the intelligent phase sequence and CT direction adjustment. A CT fitted backwards or a phase out of order normally means going back into the board; these meters resolve it themselves.
The refresh rate is 50 ms, which is what makes export limiting and fast load-following credible rather than approximate, and settings can be changed remotely through the SolaX Cloud app.
Strong and weak currents are separated inside the meter for safety, and both versions come with a 5 m communication cable to the inverter and 2 m CT leads.

- M1-40: 1 CT, 18 × 100 × 65.5 mm.
- M3-40: 3 CTs at a 100 A / 40 mA ratio, 4-pin terminal block, 45 × 100 × 65.5 mm.
- CT leads are 2 m and the communication cable to the inverter is 5 m on both. Where that will not reach, the SolaX wireless bridge carries the link up to 300 m.
- 50 ms refresh rate. Intelligent phase sequence and CT direction adjustment. Remote settings through the SolaX Cloud app.
- IP20 — these go inside a board or enclosure.
