Solis FlexHome stackable BMS — Sold on its own — and the minimum module count is not the same on HV and LV.

SolisStorage FlexHome is a stackable battery: modules in 5 kWh increments, built up to the capacity a household needs, with the management unit at the base of the stack.

Overview

About the Solis FlexHome stackable BMS

The BMS is what makes the stack a battery. It balances the modules, talks to the inverter and enforces the limits, and on its own it stores nothing — the modules are always a separate order.

The minimum system is the part that catches people out, because it is not the same on the two lines. A high-voltage BMS needs three HV modules to make a working system. A low-voltage BMS needs one LV module.

Both lines use LiFePO4 cells, support 90 % or more depth of discharge, and are rated for over 6,000 cycles — around ten years of service. Each pack functions as a standalone unit and up to four run in parallel.

This is the management unit a stackable FlexHome battery is built on.

The BMS is sold on its own and does nothing without battery modules. The minimum system differs by voltage: one high-voltage BMS needs three HV modules, while one low-voltage BMS needs a single LV module.
