The Solis IntelliHome 10kWh bundle puts ten kilowatt-hours of wall-mounted low voltage storage behind a single phase S6 Plus hybrid, with the accessory pack already counted in. Battery and pack are fixed; the inverter is the part you select.
Inverter ratings run from 3kW to 10kW. At this capacity the rating does more than cap the array – it governs how much of the bank can be refilled inside an off-peak window, which is the figure that decides whether a cheap-rate tariff actually pays on a battery this size.
Choosing the inverter
- The gentlest pairing. Refilling ten kilowatt-hours from empty at this rating is an overnight job, so it suits a property banking surplus daily rather than grid-charging hard.
- Sits on the familiar single phase threshold, which keeps the connection paperwork simple where the property has no other generation.
- The balanced middle of this range. Note the part number differs from the 5kW inverter we sell on its own, so check the code if you are matching an existing install.
- Worth the step up once a heat pump or a home charger is on the same supply and the battery is expected to carry the evening peak.
- Enough headroom that the roof, not the electronics, sets the ceiling on generation. Also the point where grid-charging the full bank becomes quick.
- The top of the single phase range. Expect the connection to be conditional, with export limitation commonly applied at this rating.
Every line above is a finished bundle rather than a tier of service, so there is nothing gained by taking a smaller inverter and upgrading afterwards – the inverter is boxed with the battery at the point of order.

Where 10kWh lands
Ten kilowatt-hours is the size most often asked for on a family home: enough to carry an evening and an overnight run without the bank sitting half unused through the summer. Where consumption is heavier, particularly with electric heating, the 16kWh build offers the same inverter list against a larger battery. Where it is lighter, the 5kWh build is the cheaper way in.

It is. All six carry the same 10kWh wall-mounted unit and the same accessory pack, and differ only in which inverter is supplied with them.
Work from the array size and the daily consumption figures, not from the battery. On a 10kWh bank the rating also sets refill speed, so check it against the length of your off-peak window if you intend to grid-charge.
