The Stack100 is a floor-standing high-voltage tower: 5.12 kWh modules at 51.2 V and 100 Ah, three to fifteen of them in a cluster, on a BDU and base. Forced-wind cooled, aerosol fire suppression, 95 % depth of discharge and 8,000 cycles.

About the Solis S6 EH3P with Dyness Stack100

Behind a Solis S6 EH3P three-phase high-voltage hybrid it makes a commercial storage system that arrives matched: the module count, the BDU and the inverter all agree, which is the part that goes wrong when the pieces are bought separately.

One number governs how hard the battery is worked. Dyness recommend 50 A — 0.5C — and allow 100 A, which is 1C. A cluster of n modules will therefore take about 5.12n kW comfortably and about 10.24n kW at its ceiling.

Run that against the packages and most of them leave the battery well inside its recommended rate. Two do not, and the installer notes below say which.

  • A Stack100 cluster is 3 to 15 modules. Packages above fifteen modules ship as two clusters with two BDU and base units.
  • Dyness recommend 50 A (0.5C) charge and discharge and allow 100 A (1C). A cluster of n modules is therefore about 5.12n kW recommended and 10.24n kW maximum.
  • Two packages sit at the battery's 1C ceiling to meet the inverter's rating: 30 kW with six modules, and 50 kW with ten. They work, but the battery is being asked for its maximum rather than its recommended rate. Add modules if the duty is continuous.
  • Modules are 47 kg each and the cluster is 590 × 390 × (233 + 133n) mm. Check the floor and the route in.
  • IP20 and forced-wind cooled — this is an indoor product.
  • Communication is CAN / RS485, with a built-in Wi-Fi module for app and OTA.

How many modules can go in one stack?

Three to fifteen. Above that the system is two clusters, each with its own BDU and base — which is why the larger packages ship with two.

How hard is the battery being worked?

Dyness recommend 0.5C (50 A) and allow 1C (100 A). Most of these packages sit inside the recommended rate; the 30 kW with six modules and the 50 kW with ten are at the 1C ceiling.

Can it go outside?

No. The Stack100 is IP20 and forced-wind cooled — it is an indoor product.

What depth of discharge?
