Solis S6 6kW Dual MPPT Inverter, model S6-GR1P6K
Top of the S6 single-phase range
This is the most output this S6 range puts on one phase: 6 kW continuous from up to 9 kW of panels. It needs G99 approval and a circuit sized for 27.3 A.
Circuit and grid
Rated and maximum output current are both 27.3 A, well over the 16 A G98 limit, so the DNO decides first. If they allow less export than 6 kW, the built-in export limiting holds to their figure. The G100 certificate issued for SOL-6.0-S6-DT-DC is under Documents.
Filling two trackers
The PV recommendation reaches 9 kW, 1.5 times the rating. There are two MPPTs, each taking one string at 14 A, with tracking from 90 V to 520 V and 600 V as the input limit. Eighteen 500 W modules, nine per roof face, hit 9 kW. Check the cold-weather string voltage stays under 600 V.
