SolarEdge Firefighter Gateway is a communication gateway from SolarEdge.
The Firefighter Gateway gives centralised safety management of a SolarEdge system. It stops production either manually, through an emergency stop button, or automatically from a fire alarm panel, dropping string voltage to a safe level using SolarEdge's SafeDC function.
It shows real-time DC voltage so that safety can be confirmed rather than assumed, notifies the SolarEdge monitoring platform when a shutdown happens, and mounts on DIN rail.
An additional RS485 expansion card may be required if it is used alongside a Modbus meter — and in that case the Wi-Fi communication card cannot also be used. Ask us if you are not sure how your inverter is configured.

Prices are displayed ex VAT with the inc VAT figure alongside, so trade customers see the number they work from and everyone can check the total.
Send us the roof layout, the output you're targeting and any existing equipment, and our team will spec a compatible system and flag anything needing G98 or G99 notification.
Larger orders ship palletised on a tail-lift vehicle. Someone needs to be on site to receive it, and delivery is kerbside unless arranged otherwise.
