SolarEdge Synergy Secondary Unit without RapidShutdownDevice

SolarEdge

Synergy Secondary Unit without RapidShutdownDevice

A secondary Synergy Unit for a SolarEdge three-phase inverter built on Synergy Technology.

A Synergy inverter is not one box. It is a Synergy Manager plus two or three Synergy Units, each light enough for two people to carry, which is how a 100 kW inverter gets onto a roof with no crane. This is one of those units, without the Rapid Shutdown option.

Important

Please read before ordering

Warning: Solar Edge Synergy Unit can not be used on its own, it always requires a Synergy Manager to work.
Overview

SolarEdge Synergy Unit, without Rapid Shutdown

A Synergy inverter is not one box. It is a Synergy Manager plus two or three Synergy Units, each light enough for two people to carry, which is how a 100 kW inverter gets onto a roof with no crane. This is one of those units, without the Rapid Shutdown option.

Order it as a spare, as a replacement, or to complete a Synergy Manager that arrived without its full complement of units. Fifty and 66.6 kW systems take two; 90 and 100 kW take three.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we get asked about this inverter

Can I use this on its own?

No. A Synergy Unit always requires a Synergy Manager to work.

How many do I need?

Two for a 50 kW or 66.6 kW inverter, three for a 90 kW or 100 kW inverter.

What is the difference from the RSD version?

The RSD version includes the Rapid Shutdown Device, which de-energises the array automatically on AC grid disconnect. Match whatever the rest of the system uses.
