The REC Alpha Pure-RX 470 W is a Bifacial REC heterojunction (HJT), lead-free gapless solar panel. REC's heterojunction cells combine crystalline and thin-film layers, which gives a low temperature coefficient and strong low-light performance. It delivers 22.6 % module efficiency from a 1,728 × 1,205 mm frame.
About the REC Alpha Pure-RX range
Alpha Pure-RX is REC's bifacial heterojunction module, in a compact panel size with a high power density per square metre and a four-part junction box carrying four bypass diodes.
At 1,728 × 1,205 mm it is a residential-format module, sized to fit the rafter spans and roof planes of a standard UK house. The black frame and dark cells keep the array visually quiet on a front-facing roof.

- −0.24 %/°C power temperature coefficient — the array keeps more of its rated output on hot days, when a UK roof can sit far above the 25 °C the nameplate figure is measured at.

Array sizing
Each panel covers 2.08 m². A 4 kWp array needs 9 of them (4.23 kWp over about 19 m²). A 6 kWp array needs 13 of them (6.11 kWp over about 27 m²). Each module weighs 23.4 kg.
