Mixergy X Indirect 120L Cylinder

The Mixergy X 120 L is a smart unvented hot water cylinder with a nominal capacity of 120 litres, standing at 986 mm tall on a 582 mm diameter, and carrying an ErP class B rating.

What makes a Mixergy different

A conventional cylinder heats all of its water or none of it. Mixergy's patented design heats the tank from the top down and tracks how much hot water is actually in it, so the household can heat a third of a tank when a third is what is needed. Less stored volume held hot means less standing loss, and it is what lets the cylinder respond usefully to a cheap-rate window or a burst of surplus solar generation rather than simply running a fixed immersion schedule.

The app adds scheduling, machine-learned demand prediction and usage insights, and the cylinder is built to work with any heat source — heat pump, solar PV, or a gas or oil boiler.

The lower standing heat loss figure is measured with 25% of the volume heated; the upper figure is the one used for SAP.
