Intatec 28mm Insulation for Anti-Freeze Valve (Pack of 10)

The Intatec 28mm Insulation for Anti-Freeze Valve (Pack of 10) is an insulation kit for the Inta Zero anti-freeze valve. Compatible with the Ideal Logic Air and HP290 heat pump ranges.

Part L requires external pipework and fittings on a heat pump system to be insulated, both to stop the heat loss and to protect the fittings from the weather. This is the insulation shaped for the Inta Zero anti-freeze valve, from Intatec's insulation partner Primary Pro.

The Zero valve is designed to be insulated: it senses the water temperature inside the circuit rather than the surrounding air, so covering it does not stop it discharging when it should. If it is insulated, all the external pipework and fittings around it must be insulated and sealed properly too, and the anti-vacuum breaker must be left clear.
