Ideal Logic Air DHW Pre-Plumbed Slimline Cylinder 150L 1 Zone

The Ideal Logic Air 150 L is a single zone pre-plumbed DHW cylinder, supplied fully pre-plumbed, pre-wired and configured for the Logic Air heat pump range. It holds 145 litres of stored hot water, and reheats from 10 °C to 50 °C in 22.26 minutes.

A pre-plumbed cylinder is a hot water cylinder that arrives with the heat pump's hydraulics already built onto it and wired into a factory-fitted control box. Instead of assembling a filter, a diverter valve, an expansion vessel, a pressure gauge, thermistors and isolation valves on site and wiring each one back to a controller, the installer connects flow, return, cold main and a power supply. It is the single biggest saving of time on a heat pump installation, and it removes most of the opportunities to get the hydraulics wrong.

This is the slimline version: a narrower cylinder of the same capacity, made taller to compensate. It is the one to choose when the airing cupboard is the constraint rather than the ceiling height.

Specification

Reheat time is measured to HWA Heat Pump Test 002:2020, 0.42 l/s at 55 °C flow temperature. Check the full weight against the floor before siting a cylinder this size: at 192 kg it is a structural consideration, not just a plumbing one.

25 years on the stainless steel cylinder, plus 2 years parts and labour on components. Ideal's terms and conditions apply, including registration and annual servicing.
