Fox ESS G-Max all-in-one — 215 kWh and 100 kW in one liquid-cooled IP54 cabinet, 0 to 100 % depth of discharge.
Commercial storage is a different calculation from domestic storage. The question is not whether the evening peak is covered but how much of a site's load profile can be moved, how hard the cabinet can be cycled, and what happens to the rest of the building when the grid goes.
About the Fox ESS G-Max all-in-one
G-Max is 215 kWh of LFP behind a 100 kW conversion system, built as 53.76 kWh packs on a 3.2 V / 280 Ah cell with 128 temperature sensors across the string and IP67 at pack level.
It is liquid cooled rather than air cooled, which is what lets Fox quote a 0 to 100 % depth of discharge and 8,000 cycles to 70 % end of life on a cabinet that runs at up to 110 kW peak.
IP54, −25 to +55 °C, under 75 dB at a metre, with aerosol fire protection built in.
What does this work with?
This is a liquid-cooled commercial all-in-one: 215 kWh of LFP and a 100 kW power conversion system in one outdoor cabinet.
The cabinet is a complete AC-coupled system: battery, conversion and thermal management in one enclosure with an Ethernet interface. What the site provides is the AC connection and the control signal.
Cabinet, grid connection and site
The details that decide whether this suits the system:
- Battery is LFP 3.2 V / 280 Ah in 53.76 kWh packs, 215 kWh of system capacity, operating 672 – 876 V.
- 100 kW rated output and 110 kW peak, 380 / 400 V 3L/N/PE, power factor above 0.99 adjustable from −1 to 1, THDi under 3 %.
- Round-trip efficiency above 89 %, depth of discharge 0 to 100 %, cycle life at least 8,000 to 70 % end of life.
- Liquid cooling, IP54 at cabinet level and IP67 at pack level, with 128 temperature sensors and aerosol fire protection.
- 1,040 × 1,500 × 2,200 mm (W × D × H) and under 2,500 kg. Check the standing and the route in before delivery.
- −25 to +55 °C, 0 – 95 % non-condensing, up to 3,000 m, under 75 dB(A) at 1 m.
- Ethernet for communication. Grid code CEI-021, EN 50549-1 and EN 50549-2 — ask us for the G99 evidence pack for a UK application.

Is there a PV input?
No. G-Max is AC coupled: it sits on the AC side of the site rather than taking an array directly.
How much of the 215 kWh can I use?
Fox quote a 0 to 100 % depth of discharge on this cabinet, at a round-trip efficiency above 89 %.
Why liquid cooling?
It holds cell temperature much more tightly than air, which is what supports the full depth of discharge and the 8,000-cycle life at 100 kW.
How heavy is it?
Under 2,500 kg in a 1,040 × 1,500 × 2,200 mm cabinet. The standing and the delivery route matter.
What grid codes does it hold?
CEI-021, EN 50549-1 and EN 50549-2. Ask us for the certificate set that matches a UK G99 application.
