Fox ESS AC3 Series charger inverter — Adds a Fox ECS2900 stack and remote monitoring to a three-phase system that already works.
An AC-coupled battery inverter exists for one situation: there is already a working solar system, and replacing the inverter to add a battery would mean throwing away something that works. It sits on the AC side instead, charges the battery from the existing array or from the grid, and leaves the original inverter alone.

About the Fox ESS AC3 Series charger inverter
The AC3 is the three-phase version, rated at 10 kW. It works with Fox ECS2900 high-voltage batteries — one master plus a minimum of two slaves and up to six — and is plug-and-play with built-in fuse protection.
High voltage on the battery side gives the best round-trip efficiency for a retrofit, and the unit is IP65 for outdoor installation.
Monitoring is through the Fox smartphone app or the web portal.
