Enphase IQ7A 60 and 72 cell MC4 integrated Microinverter 230 & 400VAC 3 Phase
The Enphase IQ7A-72-M-INT is a 366 VA microinverter, one per module, with integrated Stäubli MC4 connectors and an MPP window of 38 to 43 V.

A microinverter converts one module's DC to grid AC at the module itself, rather than running a whole string down to a single inverter. Nothing on the roof ever carries high-voltage DC, one shaded or underperforming module cannot drag the rest of the string down with it, and every module is monitored individually.
The IQ7 series is Enphase's previous generation and remains the cost-effective choice for a straightforward array. It uses the same IQ Cabling and the same IQ Gateway as the IQ8, and IQ7 and IQ8 units can be mixed on one system.

There is no enforced DC to AC ratio: a module can be paired with the microinverter as long as the maximum input voltage is not exceeded and the maximum input current is respected at the lowest and highest temperatures the site will see. Pairing a module above the input power limit simply clips.

What else the system needs
Microinverters do not work in isolation. Every Enphase array needs an IQ Gateway to poll the units, report to Enphase Enlighten and unlock the full warranty term, and it needs IQ Cabling — the microinverters connect to a purpose-made AC trunk cable, not to ordinary T&E.
Datasheets, installation manuals and declarations of conformity are in the Documents tab below. See the rest of our microinverter range, or contact our sales team at sales@clearraysolar.com for system design and trade pricing.
Three figures govern it, all in the Technical Specifications: the MPPT voltage range, the maximum input voltage and the maximum DC power. Tell us which panel you're pairing it with and we'll confirm the string layout.
G98 covers installations up to 3.68kW per phase and is notified to your DNO after commissioning. Anything larger needs G99 approval agreed beforehand. We can flag which one your design falls under.
A hybrid inverter takes a DC-coupled battery directly. A standard string inverter needs an AC-coupled battery alongside it. The Technical Specifications show which type this unit is.
Yes, up to the maximum DC power figure in the specifications. Modest oversizing is normal practice - it lifts output in winter and at either end of the day, at the cost of brief clipping at midday peak.
An MPPT tracks the optimum operating point for a string of panels. You want one per roof orientation or pitch, because panels facing different directions on a single tracker drag each other down.
The standard manufacturer warranty is listed under the Warranty tab. Extended cover is available on most brands - see Warranty Extensions.
