Dyness DL5.0C WiFi Module

Dyness Communication modules — One expands the battery, the other lets you watch it.

Dyness batteries come in several versions and not every combination parallels on its own. The LV-Link is what makes that flexible: it allows different versions of Dyness battery to be combined in parallel, so a system can be expanded with what is available rather than only with what was fitted originally.

Overview

About the Dyness Communication modules

It carries its own battery management with over-discharge, over-charge, over-current and abnormal-temperature protection, self-manages charging and discharging, and has an integrated inspection module.

The Wi-Fi stick is a different job entirely. It plugs into a DL5.0C system and gives real-time monitoring and remote management through the app — visibility rather than capability.

Compatibility

What does this fit?

This is the modules that let Dyness batteries be paralleled and monitored.

Two different jobs. The LV-Link is what allows different versions of Dyness battery to be combined in parallel; the Wi-Fi stick is monitoring for a DL5.0C system.

What the job needs

The details that decide whether this suits the system:

  • The LV-Link allows different versions of Dyness battery to be combined in parallel.
  • It carries its own BMS: over-discharge, over-charge, over-current and abnormal temperature protection, with self-management of charging and discharging and an integrated inspection module.
  • The Wi-Fi stick is for DL5.0C systems and provides real-time monitoring and remote management.
  • Neither is a substitute for the BDU on a Stack100 system.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we get asked about this inverter

What does the LV-Link do?

It allows different versions of Dyness battery to be combined in parallel, with its own battery management and protection functions.

Is the Wi-Fi stick required?

No. It provides monitoring and remote management; the system runs without it.

Does either replace the BDU?

No. A Stack100 tower still needs its own BDU and base.
