6mm2 Three Core Cat5e EV Ultra Cable with SWA Sleeve - 15m

This is an EV charge point supply cable: 3 × 6 mm² power cores plus a screened Cat5e FTP data cable, inside galvanised steel wire armour, supplied as a 15 m length.

Running power and data to a charge point in one cable is the whole point: one trench, one clip run, one penetration through the wall. The power cores and the data cores are insulated to the same nominal voltage, which is what removes the Band I / Band II segregation requirement of BS 7671 regulation 528.1 that would otherwise force two separate cables. The data pair is screened and twisted, and the lay length is chosen to reduce interference.

Specification

Current ratings assume a 30 °C ambient and a 90 °C conductor operating temperature. Refer to BS 7671 for grouping factors and other ambient temperatures.
