2m Cable pack for US2000B/C, US3000/C/D, US5000, UP5000, UF5000 battery models is a battery cable pack — 2 m for the run between a Pylontech US-series battery and its DC isolator.

Battery cable is not ordinary cable. The DC side of a storage system runs at low voltage and high current, so conductor size is set by current and by acceptable voltage drop rather than by the load in watts, and the connection has to survive years of thermal cycling without the termination loosening. Undersized or badly terminated battery cable is one of the few faults in a solar installation that can start a fire rather than simply stop working.
Which is why these are sold as made-up assemblies of a stated length and polarity: the manufacturer has already decided the conductor size, the terminal and the crimp for the battery it belongs to.

Before you order
- Not for use for parallel battery connection. This pack connects the battery to the DC isolator, not one battery to another.
- One cable pack per system, up to a maximum of 100 A charge/discharge. Larger systems may need two packs, subject to the system current rating.
- Check whether the installation should use the communication cable supplied with the inverter rather than the one in this pack. For a US type C battery on a Solis inverter, use the comms cable with the blue labelling from this pack.
This is a made-up assembly rather than a catalogue cable, so the manufacturer does not publish a separate datasheet for it. The conductor size, terminals and crimps are chosen by the manufacturer for the battery it belongs to. Ask us if you need a figure that is not listed here and we will get it from them rather than guess.

Usable energy is the nominal capacity multiplied by the depth of discharge, and both figures are in the Technical Specifications. Most current lithium batteries allow 90% or more.

Most systems stack in modules up to a maximum number of units per installation, given in the datasheet. Keep to the same model, and buy the full stack together where budget allows.
Only where the IP rating and operating temperature range allow it - both are in the Technical Specifications. Cold reduces usable capacity, so a garage or utility space is usually the better location.
Yes, where the inverter supports timed or forced charging. Paired with a time-of-use tariff this is often the quickest route to a shorter payback.
