Anker SOLIX Power Dock Pro ATS S - Single Phase

Anker SOLIX Power Dock Pro ATS — 63 A of whole-home backup with the meters built in — and combined input limits below the sum of the ports.

A battery does not back a house up on its own. Something has to disconnect the property from the grid, decide which circuits stay live and meter what is happening. The Power Dock Pro is that something on an Anker SOLIX X1 system.

Overview

About the Anker SOLIX Power Dock Pro ATS

It carries 63 A in and out, switches to backup with no interruption at the load side, and has its own meters built in so no separate CT arrangement is needed for the main measurement.

It also takes third-party PV inverters on both the backup and Smart Port connections, which is what makes it usable on a property that already generates rather than only on a new Anker installation.

The numbers to design against are the combined limits rather than the individual ports. INV1 and INV2 together are capped at 12 kW on single phase and 36 kW on three phase; add the Smart Port and the ceiling is 13.86 kW and 41.58 kW. Above +45 °C both fall further.

Compatibility

What does this fit?

This is the transfer switch and energy manager an X1 system provides whole-home backup through.

Match the phase: the 63-S-EU is single phase and the 63-T-EU three phase. Zero-millisecond switching needs an Anker SOLIX X1 Power Module and X1 Battery Module behind it, with the Power Module rated above the total backup load.

What the job needs

The details that decide whether this suits the system:

  • 63 A grid input and output on both models. Single phase is 13.86 kW at 220/230/240 V; three phase is 41.58 kW at 380/400 V.
  • Backup and non-backup ports both carry 63 A at the same power as the grid side. Overvoltage category III.
  • Inverter connections INV1 and INV2 are 12 kW each on single phase and 30 kW each on three phase, but the COMBINED limit is 12 kW (single phase) and 36 kW (three phase).
  • Smart Port is 10 kW single phase and 30 kW three phase. The combined Smart Port + INV1 + INV2 limit is 13.86 kW and 41.58 kW.
  • Derating above +45 °C: grid, backup and non-backup drop to 54.6 A; INV1 and INV2 to 45 A single phase or 38 A three phase; Smart Port to 38 A; and the combined input limit to 12 kW single phase or 36 kW three phase.
  • Zero-millisecond switching requires an X1 Power Module and X1 Battery Module, with the Power Module rated above the total backup load.
  • Third-party PV inverters are supported. The generator function is reserved for future support — it is not available today.
  • Wall mounted, IP55, naturally cooled, 30 dB, −20 to +55 °C, up to 4,000 m. Cable entry is bottom or rear. Dimensions exclude the decorative cover.
Applications

Where this earns its place

The Power Dock is chosen by the phase of the supply.

Existing PV systemsThird-party inverters supported.
Multi-inverter systemsINV1 and INV2, within the combined limit.
Three-phase properties41.58 kW through the dock.
Outdoor positionsIP55, 30 dB, naturally cooled.

Frequently asked questions

Questions we get asked about this inverter

Which one do I need?

The 63-S-EU for a single-phase supply and the 63-T-EU for three phase.

Can I add the port ratings together?

No. INV1 and INV2 are capped at 12 kW combined on single phase and 36 kW on three phase, and adding the Smart Port takes the ceiling to 13.86 kW and 41.58 kW.

What does 0 ms switching require?

An Anker SOLIX X1 Power Module and X1 Battery Module behind the dock, with the Power Module rated above the total backup load.

Will it work with another manufacturer's PV inverter?

Yes. Third-party PV inverters are supported.

Does it control a generator?

Not yet. The generator function is reserved for future support.

Does it derate in the heat?

Yes. From +45 to +55 °C the grid, backup and non-backup ports drop to 54.6 A and the combined input limit falls to 12 kW single phase or 36 kW three phase.
