A DC MCB is IP40 with an IP20 wiring port. On a garage wall, in a loft, or anywhere outside, that is not enough, and this is the enclosure that fixes it.
About the Projoy Electric PEBS-L weatherproof enclosure
It is 100 % polycarbonate with anti-UV protection and flame retardant, classed IP66 for indoor and outdoor use, with DIN rail inside and a spring-loaded lockable lid. Cable entry is top and bottom.
Projoy rate it to 160 Vdc and 125 Adc, which is the full span of the PEBS-L range, and give it a five-year warranty. It ships empty, so the breaker is a separate order unless the pre-fitted versions suit.
