The SolisStorage range includes three different battery lines, all made with durable LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) chemistry. These units are designed for longevity, supporting a depth of discharge (DoD) of 90% or more and delivering over 6,000 cycles, which corresponds to an average lifespan of 10 years.

Please note that the first batch of these batteries are missing connectors required to connect battery to inverter. Installers will be required to source and crimp such connectors directly onto the power cable.

IntelliHome 5 kWh at a glance
This is the smallest IntelliHome, a low-voltage LiFePO4 module for Solis hybrid inverters. Add up to eight in parallel for 40 kWh, so storage can grow after the first install.

The accessory pack has every lead needed to connect the battery to the inverter. It includes both power cables, a grey 8-core Ethernet cable for battery-to-battery comms and a black 2-core cable for inverter-to-battery comms. The M10 terminals replace the M8 ones on the power cables if your inverter has M10 studs. In this bundle the supplier discounts the accessory pack by 99%, so it costs little more than the battery alone. Pick it at the top of the page.
Current limits
The 5 kWh uses 100 Ah cells. Solis recommends charging and discharging at 0.5C, which is 50 A. The maximum is 0.5C charging and 1C discharging, up to 100 A. It works between 44.8 V and 57.6 V and reports to the inverter's BMS link over CAN or RS485.

Yes. It is IP66 with C5M anti-corrosion, and its smart heating keeps it working from −20 °C to 55 °C.
