The LONGi Hi-MO X10 645 W is a Back-contact (BC) cell on an N-type TaiRay wafer solar panel. It delivers 23.9 % module efficiency from a 2,382 × 1,134 mm frame.

About the LONGi Hi-MO X10 range

Hi-MO X10 is LONGi's high-end residential platform. LONGi rates the HPBC 2.0 cell for higher generation from the same area, a gridline-free low-glare face, and an anti-shading function that limits localised overheating where part of the array is shaded.

At 2,382 mm tall and 2.70 m² this is a commercial-format module, intended for warehouse and barn roofs, ground mounts and solar farms where the extra length is not a constraint. It is usually too long for a typical domestic roof plane.

Why installers specify this panel

  • Glass-glass construction — dual glass, 2.0+2.0 mm semi-tempered glass front and back instead of a polymer backsheet, for better resistance to moisture ingress and micro-cracking.
  • Hail tested to 25 mm at 23 m/s — relevant for exposed and upland UK sites.
  • Long-dated warranty — 15-year warranty for materials and processing and a 30-year linear power output warranty; first-year degradation under 1 %, 0.35 % per year from year 2 to 30.

Array sizing

Each panel covers 2.70 m². A 4 kWp array needs 6 of them (3.87 kWp over about 16 m²). A 6 kWp array needs 9 of them (5.80 kWp over about 24 m²). At 33.5 kg each they are a two-person lift.
