JinkoSolar 515W Tiger Neo 2.0 N-Type TOPCon 54 Cell Dual Glass Bifacial Black Frame MC4 Solar Panel
The JinkoSolar Tiger Neo 515 W is an N-type mono-crystalline, bifacial double glass solar panel. It delivers 23.2 % module efficiency from a 1,961 × 1,134 mm frame.
About the JinkoSolar Tiger Neo range
Tiger Neo is JinkoSolar's mainstream n-type range, rated by the manufacturer for lower first-year and annual degradation than p-type modules and for better output in the low, diffuse light that makes up much of the UK's annual irradiance.
At 1,961 × 1,134 mm it is a residential-format module, sized to fit the rafter spans and roof planes of a standard UK house. Being bifacial, it earns most of its extra yield on flat roofs, ground mounts and light-coloured surfaces, where light reaches the back of the module; on a pitched tiled roof the rear-side gain is small.
Why installers specify this panel
- −0.29 %/°C power temperature coefficient — output falls away more slowly as the modules heat up through the middle of the day.
- Bifacial, φVoc 98 % ±5 %, φIsc 80 % ±5 %, φPmax 80 % ±5 % — the rear face adds generation from reflected and diffuse light, which suits flat roofs, ground mounts and light-coloured surfaces.
- All-black appearance — a black anodised frame and dark cells, for domestic roofs where the array has to be discreet.
- 0 to +3 % power tolerance — every module is sorted to meet or beat its 515 W nameplate rating.

Array sizing
Each panel covers 2.22 m². A 4 kWp array needs 8 of them (4.12 kWp over about 18 m²). A 6 kWp array needs 12 of them (6.18 kWp over about 27 m²). At 27.0 kg each they are a two-person lift.
About JinkoSolar
JinkoSolar is one of the world's largest module manufacturers. Its Tiger Neo range is built on n-type TOPCon cells with the company's HOT 3.0 process, which it rates for lower LID and LeTID degradation, better low-light output and an anti-PID guarantee, with certified salt-mist and ammonia resistance for coastal and agricultural sites.
